As an animal relationship counsellor, Wendy Monk is fascinated by what makes our pets tick. Despite studying a double degree in psychology and veterinary science, it was at home that Wendy discovered her talent for resolving animal conflicts.

Her cats, Ruben and Rudy, had not been speaking for a long time. After consulting with both pets individually, Wendy discovered there had been a misunderstanding over the ownership of a food bowl. The conflict was dealt with via a face-to-face meeting, and the cats have been happy companions since.
Tending to the emotional needs of pets isn't always easy (especially when there's a python involved). But when it comes to her career, Wendy wouldn't change a thing
