This is one of the most exciting announcements and Blog’s I think I may ever write. After working for 12 months in London with TotalJobs, the UK’s largest generalist job board, who together with Stepstone, a leading job board across Europe formed The Network, i have secured the opportunity to be the sole Agent for them in Australia and NZ.
This announcement and news is exciting for me on 2 parts. Firstly to be given this opportunity shows great faith in the work I did with TotalJobs in the 12 months I spent there and their trust in me to push The Network in Australia and NZ. It also is an exciting opportunity for Australian and New Zealand Employers to a whole new world of Global job board advertising.
To give you an idea of what The Network is, here is a grab from their site.
The Network is a formal alliance of 36 leading recruitment job boards from over 80 offices committed to online recruitment in more than 100 countries.
The Network is now the biggest online recruitment solution in the world, used by more than 1 000 customers. With access to a pool of over 184 million jobseekers across more than 100 countries, you won’t need to look anywhere else to meet your recruitment requirements.
Benefits
Advantages of The Network
This is a great opportunity for companies in Australia and NZ to advertise for staff that may not be accessible in our glorious countries on a global basis. For those who read my blog, you'll know I've recently changed jobs, and I've been pretty slack in posting here in the last year. Some will say "again?" others have been congratulatory, I have to say it has been an interesting experience. I'm 37 years old and I'm into my 5th professional job (not counting the moss farming, kitchen hand and service station attendant during University and high school). Being the new boy again, facing those nerves of the unknown, will they like me? will I…

I shared a taxi to the TRU venue, the Royal Melbourne Hotel, with the founder and conference dis-organiser of TRU, Bill…
