"HRINZ is always in Wellington. Lots of Aucklanders don't go to HRINZ conference for that reason. I guess the person who bothers to organise it though gets to pick the location!"

With a career in IT and recruitment, using technology to help companies find their own people was a natural place for me to land. I now work with companies who want to use Web 2.0, the social net, cloud recruitment, email marketing - what ever is the right tool, to develop their recruitment strategy.

Right now though am very involved with the use of Social Media for recruitment. It is a great way for organisations to communicate with employees and customers to identify ways to improve their business performance. Right now customers and employees are already commenting about your products and services on blogs and forums, social networks like Facebook, adding videos on YouTube and much more besides.They are also a great way to build a TalentPool and establish your employment brand.

Career Planning…. New Years Resolutions
