"Hi Simone All very positive as you can imagine candidates are not always treated that well by recrutiment companies and we have always strived to do the best we can for people so it was nice to be recognised. Thanks for asking. Regards Marie"

About Me:
I am a business owner of Team Recruitment. I have been in the recruitment industry for 22 years. I am mariried to Glenn (a builder) and have an 8 year old lively boy.

Team Recruitment was started in 1995, and is now the largest recruitment specialist in the International Freight Forwarding, Import & Export, Logistics and Supply Chain industries in Auckland.

Prior to founding Team Recruitment with my business partner Linda van der Velde, I owned another recruitment agency. During that time I managed a large freight portfolio and now my client base extends across a broad range of business sectors. My main focus is to place management roles plus lead and encourage an awesome team of Account Managers.

Team's goal is to offer an outstanding experience to clients and candidates and thereby build solid long term relationships.
Areas of interest in recruitment:
Team recruits top quality office staff, up to senior management level, for both permanent, temporary and contract positions.

Team specialises predominately in the Supply Chain field (international freight forwarding, import/export, transport and logistics). However we also recruit a variety of roles including office administration, accounting, finance, customer services, sales and marketing, and general management across a broad range of industries.

#atcsyd Day 2.. The Awesomeness Returned!

Great start... woke up without the sound of crying (I have young children... this is a perfect start of a day!)

Then... awesome breakfast provided by the #atcsyd guys (the…

#ATCSYD OMG... Australian Talent Conference is GO!

If you're reading this and you haven't been able to attend this weeks #atcsyd (the Australasian Talent Conference in Sydney this week) there's a couple of things I'd like to say.  Well, firstly, "sucks to be you" :), secondly, I apologies for the large input on my twitter feed and thirdly, better…

Career Planning…. New Years Resolutions

For those who read my blog, you'll know I've recently changed jobs, and I've been pretty slack in posting here in the last year.  Some will say "again?" others have been congratulatory, I have to say it has been an interesting experience.  I'm 37 years old and I'm into my 5th professional job (not counting the moss farming, kitchen hand and service station attendant during University and high school).  Being the new boy again, facing those nerves of the unknown, will they like me? will I…

TRU Australia - Idea generation on crack

Last Friday, after two days of excellent workshops and presentations at the Australasian Talent Conference's annual Social Media event, I attended the inaugural The Recruiting Unconference (TRU) Australia in Melbourne. I shared a taxi to the TRU venue, the Royal Melbourne Hotel, with the founder and conference dis-organiser of TRU, Bill…
